Creekstone Cookout Ep24 – Holy Gospel Potato Casserole

INGREDIENTS:

2lb bag cubed hash brown potatoes (frozen)
1 pint Half and half
Velveeta cheese, ½ lb
1 stick of butter
6 slices bacon
8 oz Sour cream
Meat Church Holy Gospel

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat Yoder to 350 degrees
2. Spray Smithey Cast Iron with duck fat spray
3. Add half and half, Velveeta, and butter – melt and stir the mixture
4. After melted/combined completely, add hash browns and season with meat church holy gospel, stir to mix
5. Smoke potato mixture for 45 minutes
6. While potatoes are cooking, add 6 slices of bacon to the smoker and get them crisp to cut up for topping
7. After 45 minutes, spread sour cream across top and top with the chopped bacon, season top with meat church holy gospel
8. Put back on the smoker for additional 15 minutes, remove when it’s a golden brown on top
9. Allow the casserole to cool and serve
